Alderwood Event Campground is a primitive camping event site, or 'Camphitheatre', almost exactly 50 miles north-east of Charleston, WV and a convenient 3.5 hours (southwest) from Pittsburgh, PA or (southeast) from Columbus, OH.

Inspired by all the beautiful venues we've been blessed to attend events at, our dream has been to create a similar oasis in our little part of the world here in the beautiful Appalachian mountains of Chloe, WV.

Alderwood is situated on 111 acres and has:

• 32'x16' Stage (half is hard-covered) with 185 amps of power
• Concession area with power
• Upper, Lower, and Inner parking areas
• 12 new Porta-Johns
• Scenic pond (sorry - no swimming)
• Walking Trails
• Stone Bonfire Pit and Dance Circle
• Unique Camping areas
• Natural Stone Amphitheater Concert Area

Alderwood was designed, primarily, to accommodate music, dance and hand drumming-type gatherings, as well as small Renaissance-type festivals, primitive corporate campouts, family reunions and weddings.
